What a season!

Thanks for being involved, we hope you had a ball. We look forward to welcoming you back for another season of footy tipping in 2009. Preseason training for all our footy tippers will commence in February!

Congratulations to our 2008 Winners …..

The 2008 MyState Financial Footy Tipping Competition winner is John Hepburn of Launceston.  After 22 rounds, it was tough competition but finally with 133 points and a cumulative margin of 640, John Hepburn is our 2008 winner, beating 12,199 other tippers. He has won $5000 in prize money.

2008 Battle of the Business Winner

Congratulations to Tassie Home Loans.

Tassie Home Loans have won a table for ten at the Hawthorn Football Club’s Presidents Club Function which will be hosted by club president Jeff Kennett.

Thank you to those businesses who participated in this year’s Battle of the Business competition. We hope you had fun and we look forward to another round of tough competition next year, with even more prizes up for grabs.

Final Place Prizes

Prizes were also up for grabs for those who made various placing’s in competition.

Congratulations to Tyron Smith, who placed 5000, and to Jason Churchill who placed 10,000.

Winners will receive a 2008 Tassie Hawks Team Signed Jumper and four tickets to an AFL match at Aurora Stadium in 2009.

Congratulations also to Sam Henry who placed 2500, and toBelinda Richards who placed 7500.

MyState Financial’s Footy Legends

Congratulations to Darryl Baldock, winner of the 2008 MyState Financial Footy Legends competition.

What a season it was, with this year’s Footy Legends battling it out for the number one spot! It was a tight race with Peter Knights and Darryl Baldock leading the way for most of the season, switching places almost weekly in their fight for the top. Peter Hudson maintained the middle ground for most rounds, while David Foster sticking to his original goal of beating Boonie for the first time in many years …… This year’s wooden spoon goes to David Boon!

Round 22 Winner

Congratulations to Robert Cross of Hobart who came first place in Round 22 of the competition. Robert has won $100 cash and two seated tickets to the next AFL match held at Aurora Stadium in 2009.
