Our Term Deposit Account can only be opened for the following:

  • Individual personal names (no company or trading names)
  • Joint accounts with no more than two named parties (not trust accounts), whereby either party may operate the account singularly Australian residents with Australian addresses
  • Applicants over 18 years of age.

To proceed with any application you will require the following information:

  • The account number that the funds are to be transferred from
  • The BSB number of the financial institution from where the funds are being transferred (if not from MyState Financial)
  • Your Tax File Number (unless you agree to withholding tax being deducted from this account or have previously provided an exemption).

You can apply for any of our Term Deposit Accounts over the phone by calling our Service Centre on 138 001.
